Hey,well im am goin to be a new student at SAM Houston's 9th grade academy and i'd like to know what the uniform will be. I hope its still jeans because it is not fair once we come into the school everthing changes from dresscodes to rules. and im not only speaking for myself many people i know are saying the same thing.I really do hope the uniform stays the same.

I was just curious as to whether the students had any say in what the focus of the new schools would be. Who decided on Math, Science, and technology? Is that what will really inspire the students to come to school and do well? What input have the students had? It seems they have been through a trying time. It's a shame that it takes the state to step in to give the students what they deserve.

I hope that the changes the administration will better the educational climate for the students, but I also hope this is a wake up call to not only parents, but other schools who are riding this NCLB rollercoaster. I am concerned that Sam is headed in the direction of another charter school, not an open school of choice. It is one thing to "allow" students to attend any school in the district,

I am a current student in Sam Houston and Cheerleader and I am writing as a concerned student. Some of the decisions that are being made are being made over the student body. I can speak for the whole student body and say we have not had any say or opinion in the choices that are being made. I fully understand why the school is making these decisions; to make this school an overall better school
